The fardos el arab-stud was build 1990. After a trip to Morocco and a ride along the amazing beach of Agadir, Diana became a fan of Arabian horses.

In the age of 5 she owned her first pony. Now 30 years later after passing a dressage and jump training, she acquired her own Arabian thoroughbred horse.

In the middle of the 90´s the breed focus switched from arabian horses to straight egyptians.

The stud is located in the middle of the "Vogels"- mountain with a beautiful beck. The location is just 80km from Frankfurt away and got 10 boxes and 6h of wonderful grasslands. The stud breeds exclusively straight egyptian horses. It took years to select the best ones.

The main lines we breed are; "The egyptian prince, Monafic, Ruminaja Ali and Ansata Halim Shah.

The ancestry are very precious and are partly unique.

The stallions Yaout el Dahab and MB Zekhiel are the main horses for our breed. Yaout is 7 years old.

In the year 2007 he became senior-champion at the Arabica and the Egyptian Europe Cup. MB Zekhiel is 16 years old and the senior horse in the stud and worldwide known. Just to show some of his wins (Top ten world championship Paris/Top five Aachen/Senior champion B-Show in Ising).

Besides the breeding the Metzler family arrange also international arabian-show-events. From 2003- 2005; national and international arabian-horse-show in Schotten. In 2006 during the Pentecost 3 days of arabian- event in the stud of Dillenburg. From 2007 – 2008 the event moved to the worldknown turf of Niederrad in the near of Frankfurt. In 2009 arabica, meanwhile biggest Arabianhorse- event in germany, proceeded the third time. In 2010 it is going to be the fourth event.
